What started out as a necessity to heal my husband’s IBS & Crohn’s disease has opened us up to a whole new world of endless delicious healthy food possibilities. I really dug in to what “healthy” meant and what foods we should be eating. That’s when the Raw Vegan Diet came in to our lives! It’s been four years and we are still thriving, living pain free, and have slimmed down without even trying. We focus on the food and the body does the rest.
I’m not going to lie, it’s been challenging. Learning all along the way how to make nutritious food without it tasting like grass and cashews! How much should I be eating every day and what if I hate smoothies?
That’s why I schooled myself on the art of Raw Vegan food preparation. This truly is the healthiest food on the planet! The challenge I fought to overcome was making good recipes accessible with simple to follow methods and ingredients, and most importantly, making sure it tastes awesome.
