If you’re looking to cut the caffeine and swap out your favorite drink for a new one, this is my suggestion. Roasted Dandelion Root Tea.
It does not taste like coffee, although it’s been called a good substitute. I agree it’s a great swap but they are very different in smell and taste. Different but very pleasant.
After hydrating with water, this detoxing latte is the perfect morning cup to enjoy. Add a splash of your favorite creamer, honey or agave, and sip it slowly in your favorite chair or take it to go.

Dandelion Root Tea
- 2 Tablespoons *Roasted Dandelion Root
- 3-4 cups water (depending on how strong you want it to be)
Add Dandelion Root and water to pot and bring to boil. Let it simmer on very low for about 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy with your creamer and sweetener of choice.
*I buy this Raw Dandelion Root and save some money by roasting it myself on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 15 minutes at 375° F, then let it cool and store in airtight canister. Easy!
Drink to your health!
