Quick Quick Fancy Oats

Some mornings I’m in the mood for a hot bowl of oatmeal and I don’t want to spend more than 30 seconds putting it together. So I’ve come up with this fancy oats recipe that’s picture perfect and delicious! 6 ingredient good-for-you meal.

Here’s how I made it:

  • 2/3 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1 Tablespoon golden flax seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup, honey or agave to sweeten
  • 2/3 – 1 cup almond milk

Heat the almond milk until warm but not too hot – we want to keep it raw. 😉  Then add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix to combine. Optional garnish can be sliced almonds and raisins. Give it a few minutes to plump up while you chop some fresh fruit to complete your breakfast plate. I chose ripe mango and crisp Fuji apple.

Healthy and delicious can be done with minimal prep and effort!
